Biography

Guido Bologna received a Ph.D. in artificial intelligence for the development of a neural network model that can be interpreted by means of symbolic rules in 1998 at the University of Geneva. Subsequently, he worked as a postdoc at the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane; at the National University of Singapore and at the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics. In 2004 he joined the University of applied Science in Geneva where he holded a researcher position. He 2009 he joined CVML. He has authored or co-authored about 50 full papers in refereed journals, books and conferences.

Research

His current research interests concern: multimodal interfaces for blind users, machine learning, and bioinformatics. He strongly contributed to the specification of the See ColOr project.
